I was late to start watching this stage :( Can someone, please, tell me who is in the breakaway group, which of them is the best climber and what is the gap (i.e. - does anyone of them have a chance to win the stage)? Thanks in advance :)

The gap is back out above two minutes, the breakaway might actually have a chance. I hope the GC guys pick up speed on the final climb, surely Mosquera will attack.

5 riders

Txurruka
Nieve
Peterson
LLS
De Weert

gap 2.22

Nieve and LLS are the best bets but it doesn't look like the gap will be enough

Thanks again :)

But now I see the gap is suddenly up to almost 3 min. Looks like they are letting them go  If so, then I guess it's Sanchez FTW?

Breakaway stretching away. Lulu becoming dangerous.
Cofidis stick a man on the front.
Maybe Moncoutie fancies it?
The foot of the Cortobello.

We'll see, Sanchez has been off the front a lot longer so it's possible he might not be as fresh as the Txu Txu Train.

Yeah, you might be right - Txurruka gave his all at the front, so I guess Nieve fancies this...

So you mean LLS is from an earlier break than the EE guys? Sorry, I missed that.

I thought when he went the first time that Schleck was probably best for a stage where you have multiple climbs and an mtf and that he should save himself for the mtf. I guess thats their logic too. Shouldnt have gone the first time.
