Dave Harmon from English Eurosport suggests Bbox Bouygues Telecom is finished. Bad news if true.

Edit: Probably in the wrong thread

Not the wrong thread. Although nobody has heard Mr Guillen naming any team, everyone around him knows Bbox is one of those he would have never invited to the Vuelta if he had had the choice.

Bad news they disappear, but they've done nothing remarkable to prove they deserved to be in the Vuelta. Same with Milram.

Welcome to the Cavendish talkshow....!

No he was too good today. Haedo had the perfect position but could do nothing about the win once he got wind on his nose.

Between Britain and this, this might have been the least interesting day of cycling all year. And considering that the Tour had three consecutive pancake-flat sprint stages where the break never got more than 3 minutes, that's saying something.

Yes, for a short moment I thought he would pass Cav - but not enough power.

Cav's interview mentions that (Peter) Velits pulled a kilometre in the wind.

Third in the GC and you're working for a sprinter who would win going backwards without a train.

I'm thinking that if we're talking instantaneous miserableness rather than overall miserableness, you could be right.

He'd be right up there with those Chilean miners right now I would imagine. ;)

In fairness, there is something about that Cavendish gurn that sends me into temporary depression.

I'm sorry, in future I'll jump for joy when Columbia dominate a field they could dominate without trying and nothing happens anywhere. Yay, what an amazing and totally unpredictable win! I would NEVER have expected Columbia to stop the break from gaining any time in a sprint stage! Quick Step looked to have Goss under some pressure... then just pulled over and let him through. Same thing happened with Cavendish's first win, the other teams just pulled over and let them through.

Nothing's been wrong with it so far, it's been surprisingly entertaining. Until today.
