Gilbert giving props do David Millar for setting him up for the win.

Hehe yeh funny. Allthough with Farrar getting 2nd it wasn't stupid from Millar to work. Sure in the end they got nothing, but it was kinda close.

Mosquera is now 50 seconds behind Nibali in GC. Fränk has disappeared until the judges solve his time after his puncture.

Well that sucked. Right after Lulu and Cataldo(?) attacked, my lapper died. By the time I got it plugged in and got the feed back up, Gilbert was 50 meters from the line.

It was by no means stupid for Millar to work, and I think Farrar might now be my dark horse pick for the Worlds. He's not going to be attacking anyone on the climbs but he could win in the same kind of way Boonen did (although his team probably isn't as strong as Boonen's was).

12 seconds it is. 50 seconds is a nice round figure.
Schleck gets what, I wonder?
Yay! Brit Eurosport HD is starting at the earlier time tomorrow.
Thank gawd!

It'll probably be up on Steephill soon.

Pretty good last few kms.

Brilliant performance from Harmon once again

Calmly points out that the 2 main contenders - Velits and Nibali finished together so all is well and we will see tomorow.

About a minute later realises Mosquera is also up there somewhere in the gc

Great win by Gilbert- & Farrar putting a fine fight for the win as well- those two are in great shape for the World's...
BTW-not to stir thing up, but I thought the time gap between Nibali & Eze at the finish line was more than 12 seconds...

The La Vuelta site has no sign of Roche.
They have Seb Hinault 4th.

Biggest loser showing, so far, is Tommy Danielson, who dropped 20 seconds to Nibali.

Hopefully, any absences will be down to mechanicals.

Farrar's sole lead out guy disappeared way early and he appeared to fight through several guys to get to Gilbert-who was great. Garmin's gotta get their sh*t a little tighter...
