Sam Bennett is still in the bunch. Yesterday he tackled the final climb with the main peloton. Both short stages and tomorrow there is a rest day. And yet nothing has happened. None of this stages will likely have any impact on the recovery either.

Someone on this forum said the Vuelta never disappoints. I beg to differ.

Looks like Moviestar played its card yesterday with Valverde, and a strong card it was. But now, it looks like they are more concerned about protecting that 2nd place spot for Valverde--which isn't a bad thing, I suppose. That would be an incredible feat for Bala, a great addition to his hall-of-fame palmares. If Moviestar wins one grand tour GC and gets 2nd in another, that places them best among teams in GC results for 2019, yes?

Lulu interview said Roglic is to strong and they will try to get MAL on podium as that seems a realistic goal.

Considering the nature of the Cubilla, a move at Cobertoria would've been a suicide.
They could've ridden it faster, nevertheless, so the fatigue is there.

On paper, Jakob is clearly the best climber in the group. But I think Knox has the form more than anyone else. Should be interesting.

That was a longish pull at the front, even by Tony Martin's standards. Chapeau.
