It's too early to tell. The peloton can still easily close this gap.I guess they won't be fighting for bonus seconds.
I think they'll need at least 3:30 min. before the last 10km.Break already has 10 minutes
I think they need a lot more.I think they'll need at least 3:30 min. before the last 10km.
This profile is incredible. I love itHere's a more detailed profile of the climb

No, they've turned it in a smooth road recently . We won't be seeing a lot of flatsDoes anybody know if there is still gravel on the climb? It is only partially on street view but some of the lower part is unsurfaced on the images (which are from 2008). Also the satellite images suggest tarmac only in the upper part of the climb. When you track the climb on komoot it gives you 46 % loose surface of the 12 km from the junction in Arcos de las Salinas. Haven't seen it mentioned anywhere, so perhaps resurfaced?

I don't even know why Sunweb is trying to set the pace. The peloton can't keep up, I guess they're at the limit.![]()
The 10 km false flat before the last climb. I dont think this break will stand a chanceGotta think at some point Astana are gonna do their 20 minute sprint to the climb.
Are you his girlfriend? He's been injured recently...
Movistar and JV think they're going slowIs the GPS broken, or is the peloton just going super slow?
