Does anybody know if there is still gravel on the climb? It is only partially on street view but some of the lower part is unsurfaced on the images (which are from 2008). Also the satellite images suggest tarmac only in the upper part of the climb. When you track the climb on komoot it gives you 46 % loose surface of the 12 km from the junction in Arcos de las Salinas. Haven't seen it mentioned anywhere, so perhaps resurfaced?

No, they've turned it in a smooth road recently . We won't be seeing a lot of flats

Everything has been resurfaced
