Tomorrow Roglic should attack on the last climb, its kind of made for him
The gradients are too soft to make a difference I think. But I agree. He should and I think he will. I wonder if any team of a GC contender will try to control the stage for the win and bonus seconds, because the stage has breakaway written all over it.

It's a very straightforward sprint uphill sprint I think. Probably without gaps even. Would like a better profile than the one the Vuelta gives though

So, the (by more than a whole year) oldest rider and the (by more than a whole year) youngest rider of the peloton are both in the battle for the overall podium, if not the win.

That must certainly be a very unusual situation!

Please tell me Roglic is the exact median age

Hmm, the second youngest rider in the race is Szymon Sajnok, who according to PCS was 21 years and 365 days old at the start of the race which was on his 22nd birthday.

That seems like a rather laborious way to say exactly 22 years.

I though Valverde looked strong last year already, but this year he looks even stronger. Amazing. Can he do a Chris Horner?

Just 14 seconds behind Lopez in the overall standings, Roglic seemed satisfied with his performance, talking briefly to reporters after the finish after he put on warm weather gear and was given a whistle for the 11-kilometre ride back down the mountain to the Jumbo-Visma team bus.
"It wasn't too hard, and I'm happy to get through," Roglic said. "It's a good beginning, so we'll see.
"Sepp did a great ride and I even had to ask him to slow down a little. He's young but he did brilliantly. The whole team did well."

Hornerito was in a completely different age group. At Valverde's present age he was basically a young promising climber who just achieved his first top 10 in a Grand Tour.

That does have to be unusual. Maybe they can both find a way to end up on the podium? That would likely be a first.

Has Chaves changed to a higher cadence style, or was it just the gradient? He seemed to be spinning a lot more than he used to, it would make sense given his knee issues.

Kuss is what we thought Dombrowski would be in his early career after winning the Baby Giro. Hope he can stay on track.
