Disagree, Valverde has been going to GTs without a chance of winning for years in free roles ruining the dynamics of the team .No man.
It's Quintana who's the worst teammate ever.

That may be the perspective of a valv.piti fanboy, but others don't agree on this.Nah matey, this is Valverde's team. Quintana profited from him splitting the bunch while Valverde himself was inattentive, otherwise he has rojo at this point and looks hard to beat on home soil. This is Valverde's race, not the underwhelming Quintana's.

I think Quintana seemed quite content to pace himself, rather than making any real effort to get back on to the front. And he did it pretty well. That little dig just as Quintana was slightly making his way back, it’s very personal obviously. No one is allowed to speak back to the great Valverde

I agree. Quintana might come back but Valverde cannot hold back for an "If".Why are people complaining about valverde? Quintana is not gonna win this race and he won't even be close. Valverde has every reason to ride for himself and it's surely not in his interest that Lopez gains half a minute
?!Valverdes fat ego and the crap he pulled at the Tour de France by lying about Quintana might cost him his strongest helper

Where did Aru finish? Just when I was thinking he might come to life.
VMT, I think there is a lot of manufactured drama about this. Seems like they are both just riding their own race as co-leaders and, so far, both seem to be doing pretty well out of it.I agree. Quintana might come back but Valverde cannot hold back for an "If".

Now Pogacar is extremely talented, but a lot of people should have a good look at themselves when a first year pro is 4th from the main group.
They have always raced like this. If I remember correctly. Neither Quintana nor Valverde care about it.VMT, I think there is a lot of manufactured drama about this. Seems like they are both just riding their own race as co-leaders and, so far, both seem to be doing pretty well out of it.

Exactly, and why should they? 3rd and 4th overall, both within striking distance of the red jersey. Plus a stage win in the bag so far as well. It's not like Valverde sitting up would have changed anything anyway, Lopez would have still attacked and Quintana dropped back immediately. They have always raced like this. If I remember correctly. Quite painful to watch Aru dropping from 20 riders after all the good signs he showed in the past couple of months.
Makes me wonder if he will ever be back.
