Why JV keeps sending Kuss into breaks??? Something doesn't add up for me... Unless, they want him to score a win and keep him happy/ier...

Such a tough climb that the whole peloton has no trouble keeping the pace with Ineos.

Why wouldn't you send him up into the break? He either sits up and waits for the GC group to help Roglic when he most needs it, or he pushes on for a possible stage win and moves back up the GC.

Peters going off the front... Nice... If he could only keep it up until the finish, I picked him to win from a breakaway (with Aranburu and Bagioli, too)

But having both Kuss and Bennett up there might be a bit too much, if something happens to Roglic.

I get that... I just always thought Kuss was the right hand lieutenant for Rogliz always by his side... I guess JV is mixing it up a little...

Kuss is here to try win the stage and pick some mountain points along the way. Bennet is here to put pressure on Ineos. Both could help Roglič if things start happening on the last climb. Ideal situation.

Still have Dumoulin and Gesink who youd be expecting to be there towards the end even if raced fast. At the current pace, the other 3 will be there
