That was insane by Majka. First attack at over 120k to go and solo for the last 85 or so.
There was a disappointing lack of snowbanks to make it interesting.Knowing Kruijswijk he'll get bamboozled even for 2nd place.
What's the time limit?
Jumbo team car seems to be persisting with their modus operandi of trying to win by as little as possible, but besides Yates is far back enough that they don't really need to worry about expending too much energy chasing him on that kind of move seeing as the only rider he was liable to be a threat to the position of was Bernal.surprised Yates got that much time in the end. seems the form is good, but it's too late now
What's the time limit?
This is a frickin' joke.a whole hour it seems based on

I would argue they gave Kruijswijk a chance to win the stage.Jumbo team car seems to be persisting with their modus operandi of trying to win by as little as possible, but besides Yates is far back enough that they don't really need to worry about expending too muc
Real mountain action..........Thibaut Pinot likes this post.
This is their solution to the 2016 problem. If the riders are going to make you look weak by treating the time limit as a joke, make the time limit a joke so they don't have the chance to make you look weak. This is a frickin' joke.
In this Vuelta, his attacks had absolutely no chance to win anything, but they were very successful to put Eiking in the gutter.
Did he actually attack at any time during the Tour? I actually do not remember anything useful from the entire Wanty team, I might have missed it
Did you miss the goats sighting today as well? I didn't mind this stage too much, but I feel like I missed out on the goats.Maybe the dullest mountain weekend in the Vuelta for a while..............

At the same time, with a rest day tomorrow, there really was no harm in not gifting time to others Peyresourde-style. Eiking and Martin are just happy to be where they are, and nobody bar Mas and López are an immediate threat to Rogla on that kind of move because the amount that can be gained even if they don't bother chasing is fairly limited.
Or maybe they were just confused because Adam Yates decided to race a bit more like Simon Yates.
Thanks for the recap, I missed most of the action today. (Except for the last 47km or so.)So... quick recap of today:
Everyone attacked right off the bat. One group seemed like they got away, but didn't, partly because Kuss. After a while a large group finally got away, among them riders like Majka and Aru. Elissonde abanonded, except it was actually the apparently very similar-looking Reijnen. Majka attacked with Aru. Aru got dropped. Kruijswijk - who were also in the front group - chased. Chris Hamilton was also there. Eiking defended.
And Kron talking about how he probably needs to give coffee to the mechanics because he shouted at them during the stage.![]()
Of the year? we might have to group more years! this is really horrible.Spectacular things - Wednesday or Thursday only might not be enough - need to happen to save this Vuelta from being the worst GT of the year, and the other two weren't even that good.
So you missed all of the actionThanks for the recap, I missed most of the action today. (Except for the last 47km or so.)
