Zwiehoff helping to pace here is equaly infuriating when Total Energies suddenly decided to help UAE on stage 7 at the Tour. Sometimes you just gotta accept that you're irrelevant as a team at this stage and let other teams do their thing.

Zwiehoff and Rochas helping is hilarious

It's not like Martin is gonna keep Bernal behind him anyways, and Zwiehoff is just moronic, what is Grosschartner gaining with this

To be fair, they also have not the density of domestiques as Jumbo, Bahran or Ineos. But still, they seem to lose a race again by waiting too long.
They couldn't choose between riding for second and third or sacrificing Lopez to race for the win and now will probably get neither.

Rochas is working for the guy who is sitting 2nd on the gc, everyone of Großschartner's rivals is in the same group...

As cool as this move is, I'm still a little gutted that this will likely kill any battle for the Vuelta win.

Also, this chase is a little bit pathetic.

Zwiehoff + Rochas (great job to be there, btw) + Poels are likely to just lose time all the way to the start of the last climb

The battle will be killed sooner or later. Better this way.

Nothing infuriates me more when irrelevant teams chase down an entertaining move getting helped by motor pacing film crews while the guys at the front get no help at all.
I hope Bernal and Roglic get handed the stickiest bottles of all time now on the flat:mad:

If Mas didn't have the legs to follow Roglic and Bernal here, the battle would have all but ended on Covadonga regardless.

If he did, Movistar are idiots, but I don't think that's too likely.
