This is looking pretty good for Roglic but I still feel like he took an unnecessary risk by helping to blow this race up early.

I wonder where Bernal will end up on GC by the end of the stage. Martin is holding on and even Eiking hasn't lost a crazy amount of time considering how early he was struggling and that crash.

Even if Mas manages to reduce the gap at the final climb, he will not be able to gain any time today.

Very true. Movistar have done nothing to try and limit or reduce the gap thus far except for a futile attack by Lopez. This is where the waters become muddied in having joint leaders, they are simply leaning on Bahrain.

To be fair, they also have not the density of domestiques as Jumbo, Bahran or Ineos. But still, they seem to lose a race again by waiting too long.
