Zwiehoff + Rochas (great job to be there, btw) + Poels are likely to just lose time all the way to the start of the last climb
I think we should expect López to hit the front from the bottom, and in that case I can see Mas closing at least a minute.

I can't believe he's taking turns if he's not 100% sure about his legs. Would be suicide.

I guess if he doesn't, he would rely on the goodwill of Bernal to keep going and if Bernal stops working as well then all the effort is for nothing

Brother I need more

Short summary, anyone?
Bernal attacked with 60 km to go, only Roglic could follow. They crested with around 45" on the chasing group (Mas, Haig, etc).
Bernal took some risks on the descent, made mistakes but extended the gap.
Now Bora and Cofidis are helping the chase but still losing ground. Roglic working with Bernal.

Nothing infuriates me more when irrelevant teams chase down an entertaining move getting helped by motor pacing film crews while the guys at the front get no help at all.

Actually, the move is more entertaining now with the chasing. Otherwise, they would have had 3 minutes at the foot of the last climb :D

López tried to go with them, and if he had made it across and just sat on, it would have been great for Mas. So we can't conclude whether or not Mas could have followed.

Honestly after the TdF Pogfest these time gaps feel small and like anything can still happen. For sure that ominous TT means Rogla is always going to be the favourite, even if he were to struggle in one of these big stages (and for now he seems to be rather in control!).
