Mas was in that crash yesterday as well. They didn’t report anything out of the ordinary but it may be affecting him. If not, then stupid racing without trying to minimize their losses. Two leaders is a fail on a stage like this.

López tried to go with them, and if he had made it across and just sat on, it would have been great for Mas. So we can't conclude whether or not Mas could have followed.
Yeah, Movistar actively deciding against following that move with one of their two leaders while they are isolated honestly sounds too stupid even for them.

The gap has remained steady in the valley. Looks like the stage is between Roglic and Bernal unless they blow up. Will someone have a go out of the chasers early on the Covadonga? I'm not sure if any of them have the legs. Bernal is now ahead of Mas on virtual GC at the minute.

That's what you get for having Zwiehoff pull for no reason, now you have no fresh teammate to help you.

Am I the only who thinks this is a really dumb move by Rog? He could have sat on Bernal, or let him go and use him teammates to chase and let Bernal fry out in front. If Bernal drops Rog on the final climb, and gains time on him, then he’s in a heap of trouble. If Rog is more worried about putting time into Movistar duo then he is being badly advised. Bernal is a champion and always dangerous
