If there's one thing the Vuelta has taught me, it's that Spain consists almost exclusively of three things: scorched plains, misty mountains, and tourist development.

The Vuelta Is by far the least scenic of the GT's. Asturias, Galiza and the Basque country are very beautiful, though, and there is always a nice medieval town.

Just tuned in.
Normally I'm careful about using the word, im fact this is the first time: Borefest.
For the early starters amongst the viewers I certainly hope there's been more excitement than this
There are only 27km to go, I get the feeling nobody is watching this stage because there are so few posts in this thread.

Where is everybody?

This is a very boring stage, the peloton keeps a breakaway of unimportant riders on a tight leash of 1 minutes. It reminds me of those early stages of the tour in the 90's, crossing uninteresting places like this as well.

That's after all the result of a settled GC, unlike the carnage of the tour's early stages.

Doing other things while it plays in the background. Otherwise I'd have fallen asleep by now......
Same here, reading news with sound on so I can hear ( by volume/excitement in announcers’ voices) if anything interesting is happening. Although the French announcers get quite animated talking with each other, so I ‘ll pop over only to find they’re talking about a race from years ago :)

Aranburu takes 2nd in the sprint and takes Green from Roglic. I doubt Primoz cares :)
