Mas should go back to just following wheels
Even when he goes on the attack he somehow ends up being the villain!
Mas should go back to just following wheels
Crazy finish. Climb was too easy the end.
He was faking it!!Mas was really pacing hard, Remco was not completely comfortable in his wheel, saw him grinding a few times.
But both of them are just toying with the others.
Yah, so uncomfortable that he blew everyone's socks off the final 100 meters. He was faking it!!
Lol.
If either of them were there alone with Gesink they might have. But in this situation? No way in hell that was gonna happen.I thought Remco went pretty deep following mas. Hope he does not regret this.
I also thought the two of them were going to let gesink win…
Nice stage. Chapeau to UAE for making the race interesting.
Sad for Rodriguez but that's cycling.
Remco has the best recuperation of the GC riders. I think his weakness on Saturday will be his team, but if Mas doesn't have it he doesn't have to worry about anything.
I think Evenpoel will just follow Mas from here, kind of how he did today, regardless of QS strength
With the exception of Alberto (beloved on this forum including by me), it's always been that way for Spanish riders since the 1985 Vuelta.Even when he goes on the attack he somehow ends up being the villain!
He did attack twice though.
but had it been harder the entire day would have been waiting for it. Steep finishes often make for very boring stages unlike how this turned out.

I mean it's obvious that Mas was the focus today and when Hindley, Arensman and so on attacked, Evenepoel did not care much
I don't think so. He is just so young. His recuperation could be suspect at some point. I mean he is in the podium for a 19 years old. That is huge!Ayuso getting ill?!
