I cannot lie, I immediately went Sherlock Holmes on her. Her name is Oumaima Oumi Rayane, and again, my mother taught me not to lie, she's absolute fire.

I should have taken my cycling more serious....

Looking back at his Vuelta-career, I still wonder how 2021 would have went, and to some extent this year without the injuries. He deserved a bit better in his home and favorite race, but oh well.

It’s still a vivid image remembering how absolutely crushed he was not to able to get back on the bike after his crash. And such a stark contrast to Lopez not wanting to get back on his bike. This are my two most lasting images from last year’s Vuelta.

It's his high-school sweetheart who lives around the block. It's still the same girl he was seeing when he was a junior, who he broke up with when he thought he had to go live abroad for better training in the mountains, but got back together shortly after.

Among active riders, it's only Ben Hermans, Grosu (both 19), Mareczko (46) and Coquard (47) who had more pro wins than Molano without ever winning on the WorldTour. It's not often you see a leadout man win!
