Piccolo new leader for tomorrow. They cannot bring them back in 3 km. Gotta say, pretty crap job by DSM letting yourself get bullied by Jumbo.
Also Movistar not pulling when they can get the leaders jersey too...Very very weird.
If they’re gonna implement the stupid 9km rule, then why should they risk anything? It's a total joke by the GC riders. Disgraceful.
I don't think it's the riders' fault, just a confusing idea and not one that offers much entertainment, reallyTime to throw rotten tomatoes to the gladiators, dear forum keyboard warriors!
This reminds me of the stage of the 2010 Tour that Cancellara neutralised. Looked like a lot of fun was going to break out, and then in the end everybody just rolled in at cyclotourist pace except Sylvain Chavanel.
Uhhh, yesTime to throw rotten tomatoes to the gladiators, dear forum keyboard warriors!
Thats half the fun. Well more like 9/10thsSome nice architectural heli shots
Cancellara would also have tried to neutralize a drinking contest if he was on the loosing side and complained about the beer temperature...This reminds me of the stage of the 2010 Tour that Cancellara neutralised. Looked like a lot of fun was going to break out, and then in the end everybody just rolled in at cyclotourist pace except Sylvain Chavanel.
I miss the days when the organisers neutralised the race due to snow on the Puerto de Pajáres and all the riders were huddled and cold in Mieres waiting for the organisers to finally persuade Jesús Loroño to come back, because he'd started gaining on Bahamontes on the climb and was refusing to accept that they were neutralising the stage. And some people are acting like rider protests are something new.
Not to mentioned that Rolf Sørensen mentioned that he'd been part of one.
