Yep, agree, but QS has sent a man to the front of the peloton so the break won't get too far ahead (together with Ineos)
Edit - looks like QueenStagiaire beat me to it. :)
Also, they lie in interviews :D A lot of riders and their directors aren't truthful in interviews, so we'll just have to wait and see the race unfold. And at the same time, new information can change tactics. Kamna and Caruso being in front might also have them putting a guy in for chasing.

Do you guys have any information about the weather conditions of the final climb? My weather forecast shows a strong headwind with 35 km/h with gusts up to 70 km/h.
Might kill the GC action today..

Even if there is northerly wind it would not be headwind for the whole climb purely because of the road direction

FFS Adam Blythe contribution ...
"Geraint Thomas has pulled over and his car has stopped by the road " ...please save me from this level of comms
This is impressively observant by Blythe's standards.

Usually he'd say "My mate G has pulled over, the Ineos rider Geraint Thomas" and then his co-commentator would have to bail him out by pointing out that the car had stopped by the road.
