Any link to a map with the last kilometer so I can check the ice cream shop? :)
There's a street view tab on Veloviewer, but I'm afraid the gelateria wasn't there yet when the photos were taken:

The final corner doesn't look that bad to me, by the way. Edit: the gelateria does, though: https://www.instagram.com/heladeria_donpipo/

Every time there is a corner inside the final kilometer, it's like it's the end of the world. And if there is none, it's too dangerous to ride on a straight road as the peloton then will not be stretched out. No sprint finish is ever safe enough, so I'd take it with a grain of salt that the final corner is supposed to be dangerous.

Yesterday's was probably a bit stupidly set up but it was hit at quite a low speed so it wasn't really that dangerous.

BOMBORA'S Arrocería Gastro-Heladería is on the finishing straight.
I'd go for the café on the final corner though, La Punta.

All this talk about ice cream makes me want to eat an ice cream

Lotto and EF both trying to get in the breakaway, going to be a hard day for Alpecin then.

Edit: but not if nobody else joins in. Are all the filler teams asleep?

looks like there was no one else willing to give it a go, though. Quinn and Drizners have a minute already.

edit: but now are both reported to be caught

Pathetic effort from the filler teams
but maybe this will win them the new "solidarity jersey" for not disturbing the sprinters.

Yesterday it went to Matevz Govekar. The day before to Bernal. So the Vuelta must be a bit short on finding good reasons.

The conversation about restaurants and gelaterie at the finish are a good indicator of the stage interest.

You can't be in that part of Spain and not eat rice. Any variety of rice.

Fagundez beat the brother of the mighty Mauricio Moreira in the Uruguayan TT apparently so maybe he's going to just ride away from everyone

Edit: also good at 3000-4000m altitude it seems, shame there isn't any today.

So basically every team with a decent sprinter tried to be in the breakaway but the teams that are completely useless here decided to sit in the bunch?

Guess another one for Groves incoming. Maybe Molano can beat him. Dainese isn't feeling great I think.
