Horrible luck for Jayco today. This is also the point where it really hurts them that they didn't replace Groves with a halfway competent sprinter who they could have sent to the Vuelta, now they're going to struggle for stage top-10s never mind wins.
If nothing else he and his team got some exposureBit sad for Fagundez that he won't ge a single prize out of this.

combativity award coming, no?Bit sad for Fagundez that he won't ge a single prize out of this.
Someone on the level of Groves was obviously never happening, but Mozzato, Moschetti, De Kleijn and Aniolkowski all moved to teams below Jayco in the pecking order this past winter. All of those would be useful signings, and I have a hard time believing none of them were gettable. It's easier said then done to find a second decent sprinter - They'll be hoping that neo-pros in Berhe and Englehardt can get into the right break, while Sobrero can get a good result if he's in the right break.
Another 51km to go - give it a chance!I prefer scandalous stages to uneventful stages.

Dainese was almost dropped with no teammates surrounding him. Explains why DSM wanted to go in the break.
Then you should have travelled to Spain with a tonne of mayonnaise or something similar to spice things up.I prefer scandalous stages to uneventful stages.
Or glue myself to the road as a protest against Extinction Rebellion? Then you should have travelled to Spain with a tonne of mayonnaise or something similar to spice things up.
Italians plz help. Is Mattia called CattanEo or CattAneo?
Dainese dropped?
Agreed.Every time there is a corner inside the final kilometer, it's like it's the end of the world. And if there is none, it's too dangerous to ride on a straight road as the peloton then will not be stretched out. No sprint finish is ever safe enough, so I'd take it with a grain of salt that the final corner is supposed to be dangerous.
Yesterday's was probably a bit stupidly set up but it was hit at quite a low speed so it wasn't really that dangerous.
