Why is Covid so prevalent in summer. In Australia everyone I know got it around our summer (December - Feb) and not a single
Person in winter. This veulta has more DNS from covid than most races combined.

The risk/reward is just not there for GC teams today - if you control all day, what realistically will you gain on a 3km 9% climb and a descent to finish? BOC is a really good descender so even if he is gapped by 30 secs on the climb, there is a fair chance he narrows that by the finish. Not worth it today imho

Maybe Visma are anticipating that a lot of other riders will eventually abandon, so keeping Uijtdebroeks in the race for as long as he's still able to finish inside the time limits, means he cian still win the race.
Could it be that Kian dropping in every bridge and speed bump is a strategy to 'social distance' from his rivals and avoid covie?

Peacock just started their broadcast, things are looking pretty wild with 110km to go. Not sure what Victor's chances are but I like that he's at least taking them.

Why wait for some stupid test if you can't even breathe properly though. Just abandon and get well ffs

Cause he doesn't know for sure he's sick? Could be his asthma too. He doesn't want to use his spray cause last time he did he got bullied by the Frenchies.
