Small final stomp to gain another 10-15 seconds perhaps?
looks likely, but is this reason enough to chase all day, or will it be another one for the breakaway?

Skjelmose also said he wants to win, as its his girlfriend's birthday or whatever nonsense, but no idea if this means Trek will work. IPT theoretically could do so again as well, but Frigo left a lot on the road yesterday, so more likely not, I guess.

Break seems likely, no real reason to chase unless "super good legs"

I suppose it gets riders and DSs (and fans) used to the idea and a feel for what type of offence will incur them. Removes any claims of "but we didn't know how it would be applied" next season.
So what does a yellow card in cycling currently mean? Is it like in football where it's just a warning? Can a rider get a red card? (Sorry, I'm a little slow on the uptake and haven't been keeping up with this new card thingy.)

"We've spoken to EF and there is absolutely no animosity" - O'Connor

"They crashed me on purpose and didn't apologise, it's a lack of respect" - Carapaz

Something lost in translation, perhaps Richard's Australian isn't so good.

Getting out of hand this, they should've just gone and apologised during or after the stage. I don't think he actively meant to crash him out but it happened as a result of some of the blocking going on at the front so you apologise out of courtesy.

At the moment, nothing

From January:
From UCI press release in June
  • during the same race, anyone who receives two yellow cards will be disqualified from that race and suspended for 7 days, starting on the day following receipt of the second yellow card;
  • anyone who receives three yellow cards within a thirty-day period will be suspended for 14 days, starting on the day following receipt of the third yellow card;
  • anyone who receives six yellow cards within a one-year period shall be suspended for 30 days, starting on the day following receipt of the sixth yellow card;
But the same card cannot be applied to two suspensions: if you offend twice within a race, serve your 7 day suspension, and then pick up 4 more cards in the next 5 months, there is no 30 day suspension, as those initial two cards have been spent.
