I could be proved wrong but to me this is a crazy way of going about winning the stage for WVA. He could have been in the break and no one from peloton would have chased. Now he runs the risk of riders, a Carapaz for instance, taking a flyer towards the top of the climb and descending like a mad man. He could easily have been in the break with a teammate. And even if it was a big break, WVA has shown many times he is very good and getting ahead of any moves from other dangerous riders

Jens Voigt has said that ‚we‘re still waiting for the attacks by GC riders we had speculated about‘ so I guess he‘s a majesty now.

Wasn't he always king of his own mind chateau? :)
