But stage 19 is a Unipuerto with a tailor-made Roglic finish. They need a long, hard day to give Mas a better chance to distance Roglic. Today and stage 20 are really the only opportunities.

Yeah well an unipuerto stage is the only controllable one for them. More, they have Lazkano pulling the break right now even tho he ccan never win

Correct mix of riders I think, half of them dangerous for the win the others engines.

Rafferty made it but I think it could be a satellite for hopefully a big Carapaz move later on.

20 seconds for BOC for holding on to the car (before his mechanical). Or do the rules not apply if you have a mechanical afterwards?

Decathlon should not allow the stage to be easy. They should make it as hard as possible and chase the break all day to zap Roglic's legs. If Roglic arrives fresh at the base of Covadonga a minute loss for BOC minimum.

I don't think Decathlon cares only about Roglic. Realistically Roglic takes it anyway no matter the pace but Mas/Carapaz can be beaten and a harder pace favors them.

Agree it's not good for anyone except Bora for Roglic to arrive at the base fresh.

I think Decathlon are playing this wisely. O'Connor has a better chance to stick with Roglic on Covadonga if he's fresh, I think.

Yes, leaning onto the car for a few seconds to discuss if to change bike or have it fixed on the spot while going the same pace as the free wheeling peleton in a downhill is the exact same thing as voluntary changing a bike before the final climb to get an advantage and then cut the 30s gap back to the peleton by fully drafting behind a car the full time.

The world is out to get Primoz Roglic, you guys got it figured out.
