Who cares about NFL other than americans. That stupid sport called "football" is only viewed by americans.
I beg to differ. Fans of Bora, at least, may well be NFL watchers. But, indeed, some backward places may still be stuck on just Soccer.

"The U.K. and Germany each have 3.3 million “avid fans” of the NFL in a category that's been growing quickly for both, but Germany has slightly more “casual” fans — 17 million."

And these numbers are from 2022.

If they let football (not the american one, the real football) grow naturally in USA, american football would be dead in 50 years. They create rules to not let real football grow just to allow their national sports to have a spotlight (but outside of USA, it is not relevant in any other country. Maybe in 1 or 2 countries). Baseball and american football would be gone.

To say it's only viewed by Americans is like saying the Premier League is only viewed by the British or the NBA is only viewed by Americans. Ignorance is bliss.
Awful take, trying to compare real football with football played with hands. Tell me a relevant competition of american football outside USA?

Fify.
Both sports are boring.

You have the choice between the stage overlapping with the NFL (NBD), or multiple other bike races.
What do you prefer.

such as?

In the USA they have been trying to grow the popularity of soccer/football for going on 50 years (see NY Cosmos signing Pele) and it is still not popular at all.

Baseball gone? 500 million fans.....globally more popular than golf, basketball or US football.

I personally don't watch any of it but the reality is I am in the vast minority.

The casual fans are the ones who want to go to a NFL game in Germany just to sing “Country Road”

Soccer is the worst sport on earth and I say that as an Australian not an American. Truly one of the most boring, soft and dull sports I can imagine

Isn't your version of football basically American football, without all the padding?

But back to the interesting stuff... well... sort of; now they're showing buildings.

Glad it's a bit of a dead-rubber, always thought the GC should be decided on a final mountain face to face really, seems more romantic to me.

Bora need to have a look and sort things out if they're feeding their riders dodgy sausages the night before a deciding mountain stage too.

I think football (soccer) is a lot of fun to play, but watching the pro leagues where they do all this prima donna diving and posturing and whatnot really is a bore. And it's a shame, that's not how we played football when I was a kid.

My sport Rugby League (not union) is one of the most intense non stop games of sport on earth.
