I was on vacation, so I haven't watched any racing for a while. Looking forward to the final today. Bora pulling for Rogla or a surprise Lipo stomp I think, if the situation lends itself to it.

I'm fairly new to watching cycling and was intrigued by Campanaerts' sprint yesterday followed by Wout's win. Campanaerts talked about difficulty in his contract negotiations with Lotto during TDF press and is going to Visma. So what do cyclists who are about to switch do? Do they start collaborating with future teammates? Do they go for wins? Do they do anything spiteful? Curious!
Usually they are left off races once a change is announced. Better to give opportunities to others on the team.

Going to be an uphill sprint towards the 5km point where the turn left onto the small steep road

Think the comms are underestimating this saying gaps are going to be minimal, even those who have a good climbing level, if you lack the top level punch to get past the 14%km in the front it's a long ass way to the finish on your own. Think today suits Yates more than Almeida even though I think the latter is in better form.
