Bittner profiting hard from doing races with hardly any good sprinters this season. Two Burgos stages and a Vuelta stage. If Van Uden had this leadout against this sprint field, he would have absolutely smoked them. But now Bittner might have 'stolen' some team hierarchy points.

Bittner?
Seems like it, cameras focusing on him and everything
I'd still very much like to see the finish photo.

His contract runs out at the end of the year. I do wonder if some team is foolish enough to throw big money for some stat padding.

Back in the day we had Moncoutié who did absolutely nothing all year except for winning the polka dots and a few stages in la Vuelta. It surprises me how there isn't a sprinting equivalent of him yet, because you can just sleepwalk yourself to grand tour stage winner status. A rider genre Bauhaus for example should just do a yearly Vuelta super peak, acquire a monopoly on the sprint stages and go down a legend. The biggest rival you'll see on average is Arne Marit.

Chapeau young Bittner & DSM! What was Groves up to? Seemed to mess things up by looking around all the time. Any who, apart from Rui Costa everyone get home and it's onto another hot day tomorrow.

I think Bittner is a talented classics rider on the up ...many team would be better advised to buy him than some of the so called 'top' sprinters
