Mas typically has very good recovery, he's just got the acceleration of an ocean liner. He gets better not just as the race goes on but as the season goes on. Always tends to be good come the Vuelta and the Italian medium mountain classics at the end of the year, and tends to be better in the second half of a GT too.

That was the 1 very predictable thing that was always gonna happen. The way he went with Roglic' first attack and then arrogantly rode beside him you knew right then and there hes gonna blow up spectacularly. The only surprising thing is that it was only 45seconds and still a top 20 finish
