He likes the cold better though...Tell you who would've been up there and cooking on the climb today is Juan Ayuso

Look at the Vuelta preview on the main page. Al Fotheringham didnt mention Más among his contenders. The other one mentioned him among the long shots behind guys like del Toro.Don't think anyone on this forum did...
Yes only ones down/really of the bike.So who crashed, Van Eetvelt, Kuss, Woods?
These guys peaked in June. What the hell. Sivakov was also not great, but we couldnt expect that from him, this is probably his limit. Yates quite bad as well on a perfect stage for him, so Del Toro is their best bet!
This was a really exciting climb tbf. Great Vuelta so far!
That's A LOT of time to lose on such a short climb. That requires someone like Vlasov to drop him in the first steep km by quite a margin and then hammer it on the shallower part to drive the advantage home. Don't quite see that happening. I'll be surprised if O'Connor is dropped before the final steep ramp.
he would have started the climb in last position anyway, thoughDel Toro was pacing for Almeida and ended up their best finisher =/
Cycling media being terrible at punditry just means it's a day ending in y.Look at the Vuelta preview on the main page. Al Fotheringham didnt mention Más among his contenders. The other one mentioned him among the long shots behind guys like del Toro.
let Gall do what, finish 7th?Also, 3:49 without with 5 incredibly hard MTFs, the queen stage and an ITT is all under control. Ben is no bum, but Ag2R should seriously consider their tactics now and let Gall do his stuff.
Unlike them, Mas is really good on very short and steep climbs. Like Valdepeñas de Jaén. Same today.see also Steven Kruijswijk as well. And formerly Ezequiel Mosquera.
Romain Bardet fluking a Tour was a better opportunity. Ben is not better than this. Tomorrow Ben will get absolutely fried on Hazallanes, this is just an insanely hard climb, hard stage overall in blazing hot weather. +3 minutes at leastlet Gall do what, finish 7th?
they will never have a better chance to win a GT and are rightly all-in to try
So far he's impressed more on shorter stuff than the longer stuff imho, so not that surprising.
It’s Ayuso’s fault. He infected him!Almeida has covid-19.
I was right about the middle part not being hard enough to drop people, but I didn't expect O'Connor to crack that hard on the final bit. I guess the very confident riding early on when Roglic first attacked played a part, as others have said. A bit like when he went with Pog in the Giro, only to be dropped by all the other pretenders afterwards. But O'Connor also doesn't seem at the level needed to make this interesting.what do you think now?
