Peloton doesn't even seem to be trying to control but still no group goes clear, every time a 20 man group has some advantage they just don't ride.

Before the race, I regarded it as likely (50%) that at least one of the three pre-race favourites would drop out before Madrid. This hasn't changed. In fact, I think many things can still happen. A crash (one has happened today already), illness - many factors are still in play.

Vingegaard is the first Visma rider in the peloton, near the front. Not them who control it today

Doing almost 50 kms/h avg. for 90 kms in rolling terrain cooks people.

He's dropped before other sprinters. My guess is he tried to attack a lot before the broadcast. Or he's not fit (and honestly he hasn't been looking super great all vuelta).

Now Pellizzari following moves for no reason.

He wants another stage win

If he wants that tell your team to just control? Attacking there just does not make sense at all

They have not been riding this stage like they really want to win, they're just bored it seems
