Lecerf is at four minutes, not controlling the break guarantees Træen loses the jersey. And with the level Tiberi and Buitrago are at, they have little else to go for.

They made a mistake not trying to follow Lecerf. It was perfect for them.

They can still give them 3 minutes tho (hey will) and then someone out of the break will win.

I haven't been paying close attention the screen today.
I saw something on the roadside for just an isntant but wasn't sure what it was. I came to this forum to see if anybody noticed something.
There was a protest with a small number of people from a group with Palestinian flags ran into the road: were quickly pulled away. No significant impingement on riders. No need to discuss anything about claims or intentions of protestors.

I imagine Visma might come to the conclusion that an hour of work for a stage win is the cheapest they'll get for the rest of the race.

I don't think they will, I don't even think they want to drop Traeen today. Could be wrong ofc

Not sure this is smart from Vine. But then again the big group is working poorly together

The gap is too small. UAE, movistar and Astana should disrupt the pace in the peloton. Woet pouls and nelson olvera need to tell some funny stories of the old days! Distract visma

Ideal situation for Movistar now with both Romo and Castrillo in the front group now.

QS really dropped the ball here with Lecerf.

The mythical fuga de la fuga was inevitable here, best to try to get in it via the climb if you're in a 35-rider group where everyone will look at you.

They have to find a way to get Ayuso to the front. Then when they tell him to start pulling, he will brake hard and the gap will grow rapidly.

Pretty impressive from Segaert but it also tell you something about the tempo in the front group. Deifnitely not over yet for the group behind.

normally Vervaeke should keep G2 at a somewhat decent pace, no matter what else happens

It's like 32 seconds. If that front group works together well the gap will just grow.
