Burgos-BH have still not finished higher than 15th on a stage, their first rider on GC is 28th, first rider in the points classification is 51st, they have scored a grand total of one KOM point all race, are in 19th in the team classification, and have one rider in a 53-man break here.

Do you miss Kern Pharma too?
One rider in that break isn‘t disproportionally low considering only half their team is still in the race.

Kern had a couple of good results last year, BH, Kern, Caja should all be included for the base audience, leaving Spanish teams out of Spanish race, in Spain in front of Spanish fans is dumb. The lower tier teams rarely get wins or podium but that is not their role in the race.

Soler is not the leader, majority of his moves are dictated from the car.
My own personal view is the jerky up and down, strained, uncomfortable style of Soler is difficult to watch, even more difficult to enjoy.
Seeing bigger riders like Fred Wright, Jorgenson, Politt, Ganna, Pedersen.. All are smoother and don't look like they are fighting the bike

also Chumil was Top 20 in GC before yesterday, which apparently created a bit of a "hype" in Guatemala at least.

Aparicio looked good yesterday, so he seems to have left his sickness behind, and could still get a decent result somewhere. Unfortunately he seems to be a horrible descender, though, so probably not today.
