I have a feeling that the difficulty of the finish is being underestimated a bit and that this is actually more for guys like Pidcock and Fisher-Black than for guys like Philipsen and Vernon. Pedersen is of course the big favorite either way, but I'm curious to see what the top 10 is gonna look like. I suspect that it's gonna be quite a weird looking one.

Was reading about the theft of Visma LB and thought, why in the world are staff not taking turns to sleep in the trucks ? Even better, organizers should make sure police is around every team, it must be doable. What a mess.

IMO a lot depends on whether Lidl want to drop the sprinters on the KOM or whether they gamble on the finish being hard enough for Pedersen anyway and save their resources for getting rid of the sprinters tomorrow instead. If it's a fresh effort, then Philipsen should be competitive (Vernon perhaps less so).

Frigo said that IPT would go for Stewart if it's a sprint, so I guess they also believe that the stage is too hard for Vernon.

I expect Lidl to go for the intermediate sprint with Ciccone for the red jersey. Basically, they can try to drop Philipsen on the climb while also catching the breakaway for the bonus seconds. Visma seems to want this too.

That would be smart. Mads Pedersen is in their team, so no smart decisions allowed.

Looking forward to seeing if Pedersen is in perfect shape. The first two stages didn't indicate that he is (nor that he's in bad shape).

Looks Like Lidl-Trek went for a negative split on a climb that levels off, Don‘t think Lidl-Trek dropped Philipsen

These Eruosport ads are getting out of control. Didn't expect Peter Sagan to try to sell me an app.

That ad is stupid because Sagan probably doesn‘t even ride his bike most of the time and definitely won’t use an app to work out inside.
