I have a feeling that the difficulty of the finish is being underestimated a bit and that this is actually more for guys like Pidcock and Fisher-Black than for guys like Philipsen and Vernon. Pedersen is of course the big favorite either way, but I'm curious to see what the top 10 is gonna look like. I suspect that it's gonna be quite a weird looking one.

IMO a lot depends on whether Lidl want to drop the sprinters on the KOM or whether they gamble on the finish being hard enough for Pedersen anyway and save their resources for getting rid of the sprinters tomorrow instead. If it's a fresh effort, then Philipsen should be competitive (Vernon perhaps less so).
