And then the good spots get filled quicker, making people arrive even earlier.
Before you know it, people will be lining up by the roadside as soon as the route gets announced.
On Montmartre, the best spots were gone by 10am. Bear in mind the peloton didn't go past until after 6pm!

And bear in mind uphill cobbles on Montmartre, while today was 90° corners flat terrain leading directly to a sprinters' sprint.
Some more solid barriers with safety margin at the inner corners would do for crowds filling up at 10am.

yeah, tomorrow should be no problem at all, and the one after the rest day isn't overly hard either.

Bahrain will struggle to keep the break in check on the Bilbao stage, though.
I can see Trek doing that because Ciccone fancies that stage.

Torstein still in red and said he was expecting to be bored today (weren't we all), but said it was actually more fun than yesterday because yesterday there was more stress.

Enjoy the red jersey for another day, TT!
For VIngegaard it should be a good tactic just to keep Træen in yellow as long as possible, save his team and himself and just react to attacks of potentials .. Træen will lose everything in the Time Trial anyway, he is lighter than a bag of feathers..

Following Mads P. on the overhead at the finish starting from Philipsen's wheel was honestly shocking. Wow, he's bad at navigating a bunch sprint.
