Why would they get 10min? They just don't need to go crazy in trying to catch them back. Just let them ride, give them time. Still enough people that will lower the gap to around 5min at the finish. Which I think isn't an issue for SQS.

Because, if Jumbo and UAE are happy with this group, there is way more firepower up front than in the peloton. The only other team who I could see wanting to pull this back is Bora.

That's always a problem, see Pereiro Sio, and I reckon they won't allow (or maybe better: they can't afford) them more than some minutes at the finish.

e.g. Kuss could be a treat but he's in his 3rd GT this year.

ps: it seems the big group is actually a smaller group with a bigger chase group?
