If ineos would have joined the break, they would immediatly try to close it and not have waited so long. So thats all what ifs. Would have loved to see Bernal in the break though.

The idea they put QS under pressure is true, but they needed 4 people from their side as well, so dunno how big of a difference it is/was

QS doing a good job... not many people left (ofcourse half of the expected riders are in the break :D)
Last year they also had not many riders left I think. Van Wilder and Vervaecke did some monster stages, riding early in the stage etc. Without Bagioli, it’s looking better than I thought.
