Shack didn't do that bad for Brajkovic's epic fail.
Nibbles in the best position, and JRod and Anton looking pretty good.
GEOX was a fail today.

HTC were 3rd but Cav wasn't with them, so Fuglsang's lead should be safe tomorrow. He will maybe lose it on stage 3 and definitely lose it on stage 4.

Sky the biggest failure today, 20th out of 22 in a TTT is awful.

[edit] Forgot about Sagan! How could I. If he can grab 3rd tomorrow he'll take it.

Par for the course for Geox.

I guess splurging on getting Menchov has forced them to cut back elsewhere... Like, you know, training their riders or something.

Sagan could try something to surprise the main sprinters to get the bonus secs he needs?

I think Cav made it back, says the CN ticker.
EDIT: Maybe not. Who knows?
If Bennati stayed with them, he's in the running for red.
And he did, podium gets red tomorrow.

Biggest failure must be GEOX. Sky pretty close, though.
Personally I think that Andalucía is a contender. Sure, it's no surprise that they came dead last, but they were 20 seconds slower than the teams immediately above them. That's amateur level.

Did anyone (and by that i mostly meat Hitch, most likely) notice if Mr. Dan Brown finished with the team, or was he dropped?

Steven de jongh interview on itv now

Apparently combination of a crash at a roundabout followed by lack of communication causing Zandio to sit up, not realising he was the last man!!

There is a 250m @ 8% in the last km tomorrow. That should suit more Sagan than Cav or Kittel.

It's weird though. Outside of Murcia Menchov seemingly forgot how to TT (not that he had done many of them this year) so maybe it's Fuji who are to blame.

Yeah, the Burgos TTT was a good indication that Geox as a whole were gonna fail big time here
