I don't think so. He was stuck in the latter half of the peloton for ages. In both cases he would've liked to be more up front.

It's not very scenic but it's always interesting when the road is so broad that the peloton doesn't know how to organize and where exactly to go. They look like an alarmed flock of birds.

Congrats to Simmons for perfect timing and bravery. Deserved the win. Bennett lost his team but was very active and likely a bit unhappy for not taking this stage. Jakobsen and his team servery beaten today.

Apparently he was penalised for drafting behind a car, called it a "silly" penalty in the winners interview.

He looks older than me. But I mean, it's deliberate, he could easily change that by shaving...
At least his beard now doesn't look artificial anymore, like it used to.

QuickStep wanted to go for Remco, but instead changed tactics during the race and went all in for Jakobsen. How such a blunder can be made is beyond me, knowing Stybar almost literally made the blueprint.
