Also two times in three days that Jakobsen didn't end up sprinting, work to do for Soudal. Should have let Evenepoel attack in the final kilometre with the GC in mind, IMO.

Doubt Evenepoel had much left in the legs for an attack after passing half the peloton straight in the wind though.

Congrats to Simmons for perfect timing and bravery. Deserved the win. Bennett lost his team but was very active and likely a bit unhappy for not taking this stage. Jakobsen and his team servery beaten today.

Circuit delivered.

QuickStep wanted to go for Remco, but instead changed tactics during the race and went all in for Jakobsen. How such a blunder can be made is beyond me, knowing Stybar almost literally made the blueprint.

The riders on Quickstep would be rather stupid if they followed the blueprint of Stybar, a Jayco rider.
