Kirby's favourite rider Simon Clarke is in the break! I'm sure he will be expected to be stronger than Villella for this finish.

So Contador and Niabli are in conversation hatching up a plan to attack probably on the final climb I suppose. it has always interested me that, most often, it takes at least two of Froomie's opponents to attack him. Funny how I have never seen Froomie hatch a plan with someone to attack one of his rivals. Hmmmm...so I am thinking that is a great compliment to Froome of how strong he is in their eyes. Perhaps, it is also a testament to the strength of team Sky as a whole.

Though today should be favorable to Froome, "soft pedaling" and monoclimb almost (unless he's hurting for the crashes).
But with fatigue accumulating, maybe not.

Or maybe because he always has the strongest team and he is the stronger or in the lead?

Yeah, Froome doesn't need to gain time today but doesn't bode well for him if he isn't the strongest today.

Well, besides riding for the GC, Contador maybe wants to return the favours to his old friend Rafal.

Sunweb kinda deserved that one after they thew Barguil out, haha. Must feel bad.
Lol what? A rider who made it clear that he didn't want to help the leader whatsoever.. if he was in he would just ride for own chance. He already made it clear he wouldn't help Kelderman. So wether Barguil was in or out would have made 0 effect for Kelderman.

If anything, Barguil deserved to get booted out after his ungrateful and selfish actions.

If it's anything like yesterday, quite literally
Maybe froome is hurted. Yesterday, he didn't show anytype of weakness but today is a different story. And if he lose time today, contador and nibali will go bananas tomorrow

Today is probably the most important day for Froome. If he holds up well and doesn't lose any time then tomorrow won't be so bad. But if Froome shows weakness today and maybe loses some time, then all his rivals will make it very hard for him tomorrow. Should be fun
