Froome may or may not be weakening but Sky is surely still strong.

as Nibali said the team is not very important in the upcoming stages , but of Puccio you have to have fear

This is strange. Froome finally shows signs of weakness but instead of keeping the pressure on they seem to give him a restday. Ofc the race still could get harder on the last 60 k but usually a team like bahrein wouldn't give the break 11+ minutes if they plan something big today.

Or there tired as well.

The question isn't "is the nibali tired?" but "is nibali more tired than froome?". Cause as long as that is not the case nibali should put froome under pressure

It's kind of like 'if you forget about Grand Tours being about all rounders, a specialist would win.' If a non-all rounder wins they should be utterly exceptional in their specialism or the organisers have a poor route.

I think what the break does at this point in the race is irrelevant to the GC standings. If Nibali et al feel strong enough to attack Froome they will do it regardless.

hello in the mountain froome has his domestique to choo choo him so the ONE ON ONE is to 4 km , while the tt is for 40 km ,i think this is not fair and you?

Froome's speciality lately, winning GTs in TTs. This time though, no more TTs left, 1'16" in front and about 11 categorized climbs left culminating with Angliru.

well that's not correletion between going fast in the mountains and going slow in the flat before mountains

of course what i want to say that if team sky go slow before a mountain every other teams will do the same , but in the mountains they are better because they have the better climbers or somebody like Puccio or Moscon or Thomas

And that's exactly what my post stated. Breakaway riders must hope Sky is strong forever.

Nah, I think ITT's are much more fair than mountaintop finishes. Why should Froome who weight 67 kg has to compete against Quintana who weights 53 kg?

Nah, I think ITT's are much more fair than mountaintop finishes. Why should Froome who weight 67 kg has to compete against Quintana who weights 53 kg?
