**** my life, hopefully the huge headwind won't ruin this. :(
I hope it won't be cancelled!!

On 2nd thought finish on Cordal... could suit Berto?
Angliru is mythical. I would be destroyed just like I was when they cancelled the crostis-zoncolan combo.

Lots of riders making the sign of the cross at the start.
Please we expect epicness, don't let us down great god of cycling!

somehow im fancying a massive letdown something like the 2014 zoncolan with the break taking it.

With Poels riding tempo almost all the way up iirc...

Looks like a girl had to be rescued in Angliru (I don't know what happened):

From the text 'Girl with no brakes' it's not difficult to imagine.
I remember my first bike with no brakes, had to use my foot to stop it. Sometimes I would wear only socks and when I was doing lots of descending the bottom of my sock would be worn off at the end of the day. Good times

Tell us the reason/s.
1.) It makes the descents more decisive. I'm not talking about crashes only about making the descent even more technical which is why attackers can gain more time than on dry descents.
2.) Rain makes the stage generally harder and therefore also harder to control. The sky train will be less effective in horrible weather.
3.) A difficult race also causes bigger time gaps which would make the battle for the gc more interesting
4.) I'm a nibali fan and since nibali is usually really good in bad weather conditions I hope for rain

Contador still hasn't won the combativity award in any of the stages so far. Obviously he will win it at the end but still seems strange.

My fear is that the TV coverage of this epic stage, will be the worst of all time because of the weather

As long as Alberto is the first to come into view at the finish, I don't care!
