Armstrong has been relegated to the theatre restaurant circuit. Gone are the days of sitting on Oprah’s couch with the Crowe. He used to have his pick of interviews to do. Now he’s turning up at provincial hospitals pretending he used to be someone. Poor guy. Feel sorry for him.

Yes agreed the confession will be bigger than Comeback 2.0. Hope, courage and other such words will be thrown around.

You know what, i'm gonna take real offence to that remark. How dare you make such ill informed comments, on something you know nothing of.
You hypocrite.
Lance Armstrong has always stated, since his return, that he will do all he can for the cancer community. What he is doing now, is just that.
As a cancer survivor myself, I find your comments disgusting. And as a human, tell us, what it is you do, that makes you so much better. I'll leave a small section at the bottom for your response.

The most recent news is that the investigation has come to a stand still and the case will soon be dropped. It's sad that our taxes are paying for this mess. Good news is that AC has been caught and should get banned for a while. No way will AC ever win seven TDFs and the mexicans sure are jealous now

Me too. Add Armstrong too. Unless he tests positive, he''ll always be tainted, yet no-one (and I stress no-one) has proved otherwise.

The world is mad!

 Umm. You do realize that your hero has been lying, yes lying and capitalizing off of, the cancer community since 1999? The viewpoint that Lance never doped because he didn't test positive is, um not really credible. Have you been paying attention to anything that's happened the last 5 years? How abou the last 5 months? Two others besides Landis say there was systematic doping on Postal (shocker!)

Catch up on your reading and let me know how you make out.

Something are beyond just "fail" as Moose posted. Racist comments like those posted are beyond any form of jest, and not funny.

Several posts have been deleted by Barrus and myself, infractions and bans have been handed out. Next person to make a bigoted or racist comment, regardless of how funny they think it is, will receive a long ban. You have all been warned.

You might want to take a little time perusing the livestrong.org 990's/financials/public disclosures.

He's not doing all he can and never has. Wake up already.

Armstrong was not back on his bike for thehog. He also said that he would have an comprehensive and transparent testing program with Don Catlin. Things that come out of his mouth have a way of not coming to fruition. In his defence, he did attend cancer research events when he rode in Ireland, Italy, and Australia. Surely his appearance fees went directly to cancer research?

2009 was arguably his most lucrative year of his career - without salary from Astana.

Perhaps the Lance fan can do the math for the rest of us.

It depends who flips first. If you tell the truth you get a "Get out of Jail free" card. I think Knaggs as he is still married with kids. Jeff Spencer has already testified. Stapleton's ex-wife cleaned him out so he may roll the dice. Don't be surprised if the investigation goes back way farther and deeper then people think. This is something that stretches over 2 decades.

If you lie, you go to jail. Armstrong does not have friends, he has employees. Nobody is going to jail for Wonderboy.

Stephanie McIllvain sure did.

Thanks for the tip Berzin. I'll make a trip to the library and check it out.

Are you kidding me? Did your cancer get into your brain?

I mean seriously what are you on?

This I just don't understand. What are you trying to tell me? By having cancer you can commit fraud, take a bucket load of drugs and pay bribes? Don't you ever again disrespect the disease cancer ever again. Don't you misrepresent it. You should be ashamed of yourself. As survivor as well.

I'm sorry that you were effected by cancer but don't use it to beat up on people. I didn't give it to you and certainly Armstrong isn't innocent because he had cancer. It's not a get out of jail card for being an a3sehole.

Grow up. Respect what happened to you and move on. It's not the end of the world.

And in case you're wordering before you want to beat up on me again. I watched my mother die of cancer. I watched my father survive cancer. I watched an ex-partner walk away because of cancer and my sister lose her fertility to cancer.

So man up and stop acting like a loser.

I guess it's time for me to take another bet. I'll add $100 to the charity of Berzin's choice if the predictions he makes above even remotely come to pass.

"Remotely come to pass"...that is a vague and subjective statement meant as an easy way to weasel out of the commitment you're putting on the table.

No. This is how it will work. If two ex-teammates corroborate Landis' claims of organized doping on the US Postal team and that Armstrong did indeed dope alongside them, which is what will cause the avalanche to his downfall, you owe me $100 DIRECTLY.

I'll spend the money on whichever charity I choose. Or not. Either way it's none of your business what I do with it. Once you lose the matter will be out of your hands.

That's how it will work.

Of course you won't agree to this, which is exactly why I amended the conditions. Just to see how far you would go. Then again this is the internet-you can be full of horse manure and no one will ever know in real life. The anonymity that allows you to make statements you have no intention on backing up makes people very brave indeed.

Either way I don't care.

Why are you backing away from your claims?

I will offer $100 to the charity of Berzin's choice if even 3/5 of the following predictions he's made about Armstrong come true: no more hobnobbing with the rich and famous, no more paid corporate speeches, no money for his 'fake' charity, politicians will avoid him like the plague, and quite a few companies will see about recovering endorsement money they paid him.

No, I'm not giving it directly to Berzin because I want to be sure it goes to something worthwhile and this discussion, being about a game, should remain light hearted.

In addition, my previous pledges remain.

$100 to the charity of Race Radio's choice if the u.s. courts directly allow the '99 samples as evidence.

$100 to the Hog's charity choice if he's right that Lance will be proven to have run a drug network in Europe (Hog:"In this case Armstrong set up the network through Europe."), and $200 if the big three are handcuffed by the end of the year (Hog: "Levi, Hincapie, Armstrong and co. ale l think its about using dope but expect them all to be lead away in handcuffs by year out.")

Scott, yes, the stakes are low, but it's real money to a humble public servant like myself!
