don't read that cr@p, its just a bunch of anti-American, hero hating BS. Those guys bang on about the 1999 samples because they are tin-foil hat conspiracy theorists who just handle the fact that their favorite doped up rider Basso/Ulrich/Vino couldn't beet a clean Lance.

We all know that EPO has very little effect on real racing performance anyway. Otherwise Lance probably wouldn't have beaten all those dirty riders while clean.

I dont have any issues and can accept Lance as the Hero that he is. Someone who though hard work, honesty and good character has made something of his life and set an example we can only hope to emulate.

he tested positive 2 x in 1999 though.

One required a dishonest backdating of a TUI and the other he only escaped due to it being a retrospective research analysis.

One interesting thing about his 99 EPO positive is that it not only showed that few of his rivals were using EPO during the tour, it also showed that Lance was using absolutely sh*tloads of the stuff.

I remember watching him climb to Sestriere in 99 and thinking how if Riis was Mr 60% then Lance must have the new record on artificial crit elevation....
