Road race profile. They don't use the same climb for whatever reason.

Anyone with profiles of what seem to be little hills (barely 200m altitude gain)?

if the scale on this profile is correct it should be about 2km-8% and 0,6km-11% and i would say it's a pretty good course

maybe some mistake occured and they mixed up profiles. this profile is definitely more appropriate for a tt while the tt course would be better for the RR

Cancellara would still win lol.

Well if it was really technical it would be between Sagan Canc and Thor. but if it wasnt then track riders might win it.

Boom and the much loved Phinney are also not bad on a technical ultra short course.

Yeah. And do you really think we'll see another Contador within, say, 10 years?

edit: sorry, I asked the wrong person, of course we will. Sergio Henao, Carlos Betancourt, Nairo Quintana...
LOL.

At least you know the names.

I am puzzled as to the type of bikes that the riders will use.

I think they will be aerodynamic TT bikes but those bikes have to hurt the riders on the climb.

What do people think about it?

Robert Gesink could come out of retirement for that race and dominate. The Dutch would finally be able to do something in a WC.

As far as I know in terms of gold medal success at the Worlds it's:

The Netherlands 7 - Australia 1

Scoreboard.

Of course we know who will win it, how can Contador possibly lose this? I think it's obvious that this course was created with him in mind: not too long, and very hard. I like this profile, but come on... if these were the times of Miguel Indurain we'd have seen a very long, flat TT in his home Worlds.

I was speaking about hometown favouritism, how could this have happened to Tony Martin  Cancellara won his home Worlds, but the course wasn't really tailor made for him... he was just the best time trialist in the world at that time.

Evans, Leipheimer, Menchov, even Wiggins could all do well on this TT course.
Contador isn't a given.

Interesting TT course, allthough right there is only one that can win it and that's Contador. Still 3 years to go though.

RR looks 'ok'.
