Yes malwarebytes is great anti-malware, download it and use it. I can recommend AVG Free as a virus scan and that you should use an adblock program for your browser!

I have problems with lots of app hangs on the CN forum that occur on no other site I visit. This happens when using Firefox and also when using Opera. Doesn't happen on any other website I visit. It also doesn't happen out on the regular CN site, just when I visit the forum.
