Beer Paradise in Czech Republic
Drink beer, take a beer bath. In a small village of Khodova Plan the famous brewer Chodovar will offer you anything that you can only dream of even a beer spa. And the girl in the last photo... Well, she looks very nice.

After a long hard ride, pour one of these and spoon into some peanut butter for your own version of a peanut butter cup :D

Been totally enjoying Scaldis. Maredsous, St Bernardus 12, and Piraat ale are a few of the others. Oh, and Val Dieu Triple, another fantastic one!

Belzebuth is next on the list.

If anyone gets the chance to stay at the Auberge de Poteaupré near Chimay I can assure you it is time well spent.

The only Chimay I can get along with is the Blue. The other brews just don't sit well with my taste buds. My fave Belgian is still Leffe Blonde. I'm still conducting my research though :D

Leffe Blond is a really average beer, in my taste.
Yes, it 'drinks quite good', but the taste isn't anything special.

I prefer a tripel Karmeliet or a Augustijn Blond if I drink something blond...

I recharged my stock at the drankenhandel last Saturday. I suddenly realised that I'd never noticed the Straffe Hendrik 11 Quadrupel before, so I bought myself some for Paris-Roubaix.

I wasn't overly impressed with it, as it turns out. Just a bit thin in both taste and texture. The Quadrupel market provides some of the toughest competition though, since it contains some of Belgium's very best brews.

You mean Newcastle Brown Ale? Wow, I hope you were OK afterwards. That stuff is notorious for giving people terrible wind. :p

Had a chance to visit Struise Brouwers in Flanders. Among other things they brew this:

Not sure if Pannepot can be found in the States. If you can find it, buy it.
