I am moving house soon and have my first child on the way, so I am thinking of consolidating and modifying my stable of bikes to suit my current and future riding.
My current stable includes three road bikes (custom Lynskey Level 4, Cervelo S2, and Colnago Master), one travel road bike (Ritchey Breakaway), one cyclocross bike (Stevens Team Ultegra), one MTB (Giant XTC NRS1), and two single speed bikes (Raleigh Rush Hour and no name brand for commuting).
I ride my Lynskey and Cervelo most frequently, Colnago rarely, and my travel bike when I travel and when friends need a spare bike. I race my 'cross bike, use it as my wet weather bike, and it also sits on my trainer in the summer months. I rarely MTB now, but want to keep it for when I do venture out on the odd occasion. I have fanciful ideas of using the Raleigh Rush Hour as a training bike (and in the distant past really enjoyed long rides on the Rush Hour), but it is in the middle of a conversion from a fixie to a single speed and I am losing enthusiasm. My commuter is decent, but I am now moving further away and probably need something that I can fix a flat more easily.
I am interested in a good touring bike which will also serve as a commuter and for towing the kid around. One of my LBSs custom makes Steelwool bikes, so this is the most likely option for a touring/commuting bike.
I am also kind of interested in the Pinarello ROKH, mainly because I like their design but also because the ROKH suits my current riding. Maybe a replacement for the Cervelo?
So, if you were in my shoes, what would you keep, what would you sell, and what would you buy?
