I ride a '96 Bianchi Ti Megatubo with '02 Campagnolo Record 10 drivetrain and '03 Campagnolo Eurus wheels.
In a couple of weeks the frame will be replaced with a '10 Bianchi Infinito. The group will be '09 Campagnolo Super Record 11. I'm keeping the wheels, at least for this season.

I also have a mountain bike...

1st new bike of the cntury

I just rejoined the cycling crowd after a long hiatus. I started riding on my 26 year old Centurion. I did a lot of online research into low end, my current end, road bikes. I am still making sure I am going to stick with cycling but loving it. I landed on the Jamis Ventura Race. I bought the bike with a belief that in my price I was buying a set of components. The bike features carbon fiber fork, mono-stay and seat post. The component group was Shimano 105. Most bikes at the same price feature carbon fiber fork with maybe Shimano 105 rear but lesser front derailleur. The wheels are Formula CRX-220. I guess the wheels are the clinchers. Tires are Vittoria Zaffiro.:D

'06 Cannondale Six-13 pro (carbon downtube) with DA 7800 and Campy Zonda wheels. It's right at 18lbs which is funny because these days, that would be considered "heavy".

Realistic dream bike would be the new BH G5 with Red, Giant TCR Advanced SL ISP with Red, or a Time RSX. I'd love to test ride all 3.

Look KG361 with Rolf Vector rims nice bright yellow for the road ragers to go after in their gas powered vehicles.

Bianchi Celeste on the wind trainer looking to turn it into a cycle-cross bike

In a week I will be on a new Litespeed Icon with Campy Chorus and Hed Keremesse wheels. Right now I am on a Jamis Xenith Pro with Dura-Ace 7800 with the same wheels. Non the less, it is legs that turn cranks not the other way around.

It's a few years old, and I'm looking at getting a new bike. What do people prefer, SRAM or Campagnolo?

I ride SRAM and really like it :) My brother likes his Campy though but I'm not a big fan of it. I don't like the way you've got to shift... so I prefer SRAM :)
