You must be correct, good sir, and I am red-faced with embarrassment.
Carry on. Nothing to see here, folks.

Poll needs an “all of the above at different times” option.Any real eureka moments while pedalling?
Is grinding up a hill the time to make an important life decision?
And music on a ride: yes or no?
Pun-taneously, even. You can't pre-plan puns. Puns have to occur spontaneously.
That's why you can tick as many as you want...Poll needs an “all of the above at different times” option.
I used to ride with music. Now I ride with whatever song is stuck in my head.

You should use the Slowpoke meme template as avatar.Don't you mean pun-taniously?
I prefer numbers when I’m indoors and find that I naturally gravitate toward intervals and exact numbers for indoor sessions. Outdoors it’s all by feel and I usually increase intensity throughout the ride and get into more of a mindless flow at that point if it’s a good session.I definitely focus on the data not the views. I am fortunate enough to live near some stunning scenery but unless I’m in a car I am focusing on my power not the stunning views.
Years ago I’d do indoor sessions listening to Metallica but these days stick with the numbers even if that sounds boring which it kind of is if you dwell on it.
Surely the most poetic first contribution to the board ever.let the soul out of my brain.
that's all.
